It all started with……

I believe in the power of sharing food, wine and enjoying the “craic” with friends and loved ones. This is why I started my resin journey with my core product, handcrafted solid wood, food safe and colourful cheese and charcuterie boards. These are 100% handmade in my studio in the center of Ireland. These mainly Ocean inspired cheese and serving boards bring the colours and tranquility of the Ocean into todays modern homes and interiors……

A former award winning florist, Fiona has always used nature as her inspiration, be it formally in floral decorations or as now in her nature inspired handcrafted pieces. In 2021 she was recognised for her sustainable functional art by Theo Paphitis of BBC’s Dragon Den by being one of his winners of his Small Business Sunday award.

Inspired by the Wild Atlantic coasts of West Cork where my family live, I have translated this into an Ocean inspired resin palette of shades of blue and foamy whites along with the use of sand, shells and seaweed collected from it’s beaches.

All wooden cheese & serving boards, tea light holders and soap dishes are handcrafted in my Co Offaly Studio and it is here that I take inspiration from the surrounding Peat Land bogs with the browns, greens and heather plums.

My mission is to help steer people away from mass produced pulp wood and plastic boards and by making my own cheese boards means that each piece is a solid 1” thick piece of timber and which has a beautiful natural wood grain as well a being durable and long lasting. All boards are also sealed with a natural mineral oil that is tasteless, odourless and will not taint. As I endeavour to use every piece of wood as much as possible to be as sustainable as possible, this has lead to a range of homewares such as handmade clocks, soap dishes, free standing fish along with resin flow art serving trays, resin coasters as well as larger original resin art framed wall pieces.

As resin art is a flow art art, no piece will ever be the same, meaning you have a beautiful ‘one off’ Irish handcrafted piece.

All wood is sustainably sourced locally to Co Offaly and as much as possible of other raw materials are sourced from Irish suppliers. All packaging is fully recyclable and any printing work is done on recycled card.
