You might have noticed…but there was no June blog. After 2.5 years of evading Covid it finally caught up with me. While my symptoms were very mild I can’t believe how tired it left me and my motivation and inspiration left me so I decided to step back for the month.

However, July is here and although the sun seems to be hiding behind the clouds in the Middle of Ireland, I’m back on form and raring to go. I’m in the middle of creating a small collection for the brand new craft area in Lough Boora Park a natural wetlands in Co Offaly. An ex Bord na Mona peat bog this amazing place is full of walks, sculptures and a photographer’s dream. The new craft area in in a converted Bord na Mona train carriage which is nearly ready to be put in place. There will be 5 Artist/Crafters featured and I can’t wait. Keep an eye on my Instagram for pictures coming as soon as it opens!!

I’m also planning a return to craft markets and agricultural shows with the main being the Tullamore Show in August. This is the largest one day show in Ireland and is back on for the first time in 3 years…..Oh and it’s only 7 miles from me, Happy Days!
