Spring is allegedly here and it’s a cold one. I’m always trying out new ideas but this month, I was asked to try a new one! A previous cheese board customer asked me to make a bath shelf, so I thought why not. Once I had asked Dr Google what exactly classes as a bath shelf these days, it was down to making. I found a lovely piece of Irish Beech and tried to keep it as close to the lovely natural edge it had as I could. The client wanted to be able to watch her IPad while enjoying a glass of red, so out with the router. Naturally as it was for the bath, I used my favourite blues in a wide strip the full length of the shelf. The Client loved it and happy Client = happy Fiona. i decided to make another just to have on the website to maybe tempt someone else!
