Hopefully the Country will begin to open up again in the next few weeks and the Craft Markets will be able to start again. I’ve almost forgotten what they’re like but it will be great to be able to meet customers again and share the banter with them. In preparation I’ve been working on some new pieces. My parents have recently bought a house in West Cork and one of the photos on the auctioneers post for the house was this rocky cove beside the house. It inspired the current “Ocean” series I’m working on. From resin coasters to framed Ocean waves on Irish beech slices, they are all inspired by the sea. Hopefully I’ll be seeing quite a bit of the sea when My parents move back to Ireland after 13 years living abroad.
